Why we cap what a single person pays
Most people here pay between $14.99 and $19.99 a month, and $24.99 is what it costs if you want no commitment at all. People trying to get married should not be spending hundreds of dollars a year on the looking, and a shadchan who charges like that has the wrong idea about the job. Gold costs more because a person is doing the work, and it is capped too, at $59.99. Platinum, when it opens, costs more again because a coach is paid for their time.
Straight answers about money
What happens if you find someone for me while I'm free?
We tell you. You will hear that someone cleared your bar, and that is the moment you decide whether to go active. You will not see who until you do. We are not going to sit on a real match and say nothing, and we are not going to hand it over for free either. Going active is one month, and you can stop after it.
What if we agree to a date and one of us doesn't show?
Accepting an introduction is a commitment to turn up. A no-show after accepting suspends the account while a person here looks at what happened, because on the other side of that is someone who cleared their evening. Declining beforehand is always free, for any reason or none. It is only the accepted-then-vanished that we act on.
Why does billing stop?
Because we make money when you succeed, not while you search. When you two confirm “just us,” matching and billing pause for both of you.
How do you know everyone here is real?
Every member does a live verification, a short guided capture with a word on screen you have to say, so a saved clip can't be reused. A person reviews every capture before you are introduced to anyone. It stays with us and is never shown to anyone you meet.
Does paying put me ahead of anyone?
Not in anyone else's queue. Your tier never changes where you appear in someone's introductions, and it never will. Fit alone decides that. What paying buys is us actively working your search, and the ability to act when we find someone. We would rather say that plainly: a free account means you can be found, not that we are out looking.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. And if a relationship ends, reactivating is a single tap.
